Riccalton Poppy 42 " Chestnut mare rising 13 years
 
This much loved pony needs no introduction as the ultimate fy-fr who does it all.  Poppy needs no working in and has carried my children in total safety through every activity and into busy evening performances from their 6th birthdays.  She knows FR show inside out, never home without a rosette and pretty much does the show on her own getting the correct canter lead every time even with small wobbly children on board.  Pops excels in LR, FR, workers and will step up for opens having been placed in both FR and Open HOYS qualifiers.  She in the best young handler pony , see pic on page 31 current NPS review.  Extremely easy to have around, her only quirk is she can be tricky to catch without food.  This is an unforeseen and very sad sale of a family friend and she must have the best of homes.  £3000

Same home for 7yrs and only for sale due to owner’s ill health.  Has been top class lead rein and in-hand pony, both county and local level since she was 6yrs old (not a FR pony). Excels in coloured classes.  This pony has been there, seen it, done it and bought the rug!  Loves kids and dogs, does not bite, nip or kick. Potential top class lead rein miniature mare for sale.
Cairnsmore Stella Maris is 7 and has super conformation, an adorable nature, lovely floaty movement with masses of flaxen mane and tail.She has a real look at me.She measures just under 34" so would be more than capable of carrying a young jockey.  She was show twice as a yearling winning 1sts at county level. She then had two foals and was not show until last year when on her 1st outing she took 1st brood/yeld mare, champion miniature, Supreme Champion Shetland and went on to take reserve supreme of the Heavy Horse Show. I then took her to one more show where she had a 1st and a 2nd.    She lunges, long reins and walks out in traffic. Stella loves to jump on the lunge and I think she may have been backed in her last home but would be very easy to do. She would be an outstanding HOYS quality lead rein and I think this is where Stellas future lies.She has never had lami or sweetitch and has been a pleasure to own. Extremely sad but necessary sale through absolutely no fault of her own.
